Love butter? Love potatoes? Well you'll love this recipe for warm potatoes that are steamed in butter!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs baby potatoes
  • 1/2 C butter
  • 1/4 C water
  • 1 t salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 t pepper, or to taste
  • Additional toppings, as desired

Directions

In a medium saucepan over low heat, add the butter, water, salt and pepper

Scrub the potatoes and peel a strip away from each of the potatoes

Add the potatoes to the saucepan and cover

Cook over low for 25-30 minutes, rolling potatoes around in the pan occasionally as they cook, but without removing cover

Topping options: parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, or red pepper flakes
